Dominate the arena across the sky with Valkyrie

The Valkyrie jet suit allows her to fly over the battlefield for a limited time. When it's time to attack to kill, she can launch a large number of missiles to destroy and distract her enemy. Valkyrie, the daughter of the famous Titan Pilot Viper, lost her father when she was nine years old. She inherited a love of flying from her father, but not his sense of responsibility. Except for one thing. She swore to kill the man who caused her father's death: his captain, Kuben Blisk. But when it came time to shoot, she hesitated -- spoke respectfully of her father, Viper. Challenge it to be better. Valkyrie shot him anyway, but didn't kill him. Just an invitation card to Apex Games.

Made from the remnants of her father's Northstar Titan, the Valkyrie jet allows you to fly over the battlefield for a limited time. When it's time to swoop in to kill, she can launch a swarm of missiles to damage and confuse her enemy. And if the atmosphere flares up, she can use her Ultimate Super ability to quickly escape into the sky -- bringing her entire team with her if they so desire. Valkyrie storms the battlefields to prove her worth and is ready to unleash a barrage of death from above.

"If there's a dirty job to do, I'll do it cheaply." Fuse is a one-man destroyer crew as well as a powerful explosives expert, and a man who cares a lot about women and men.

Fuse is hilarious, a laid-back character who craves the crackling explosives he's almost covered in. Fuse doesn't lack confidence, but he often lacks plan making. He's the kind of person who blows up first and asks later, who's always looking for a good fight.

Fuse grew up in Salvo - a brutal planet ruled by a rotating band of wretched warlords thirsting for chaos, murder, and good times. He worked as a mercenary most of his life with his childhood friend Maggie. But while she aspired to become one of Salvo's most powerful warlords, Fuse felt drawn to the arena.

Fuse found himself late in life fighting in the blood sport of Salvo: Bonecage. In doing so, he proved to be the most loved and most attractive wrestler on the planet. But he got excited to join the coolest stage ever, Apex Games. Salvo is still part of the Independent Space which was an impossible dream, but once he joined Syndicate, his opportunity opened up.

This had dire consequences, but Maggie wouldn't let him go without a fight.

Almost a century ago, Outlands was teetering on the brink of a catastrophic energy crisis. and hired Dr. Mary Somers, a charming eccentric astrophysicist, to find a solution. Mary moved her family to the scientific research site at Olympus and started to work.

With the help of her student, Dr. Reid, Mary discovered Brantium - an element she was convinced could be the key to unlimited energy. But Branthium can only be found on a black-hole disk, so Mary and Dr. Reid is on a dangerous mission to prove the validity of her theory.

Mary promised her son Newton that she would return safe and sound. But she was betrayed by Dr. Reid, steals Branthium and sends its shuttle into the black hole's orbit. Using her wits, Mary modified the robotic vacuum companion N.E.W.T. to escape. But the passage of time is different on the outskirts of the black hole, and it is 87 years late.

Now Mary is determined to fund her research to find a way to go back in time and be with her son. She joins Apex Games as Horizon, Lady of Gravity, just in time for the next season to debut at Olympus--where her old life was once and where she's promised to return.

Rampart is a worker with her own business and only needs a massive gun and a backpack full of scrap metal to survive in the dangerous Wild West Outlands. Before opening her famous tweak shop in Gaea, Ramya Parekh (Rampart for short) made a name for itself in the secret gauntlet arena. Parekh came out on top after displaying superior skill with her custom-made tools. She began to receive job requests from smugglers, union members, and everyone among them. Some say that the name "Rampart" on the tool is enough to make the tool excellent.

Parekh never hesitated to tell people how good she was, or better yet, how bad they were. This may have prompted some trespassers one day to ambush her in her shop. Her shop was devastated by fire and there was nothing left of her, except for the Apex Card. For Parekh, the Apex card meant more to her than just an invitation, it was a sign that she might have lost her store, but not her essence. As her motto states, she is the one who can always "turn dust into gold".

Desperate to find a way to kill him, she vandalizes a facility filled with Revenant's bodies, bringing down Skull Town and Thunderdome in the process. However, she had learned that it was just one of many such factories hidden around Frontier. And now, she joined the games to find a way to eliminate him for good. It doesn't hurt that the squares are full of what they boil and wait only to seize them.

Revenge will come, if she is lucky. Meanwhile, some bright things caught her attention.

But everything changes with time, and when his programming eventually fails, he sees what he's become at the hands of Mercenary Syndicate and Hammond Robotics, becoming nothing more than a nightmare of metal and scrambled flesh. They brought him back to life in a human-like form, repeatedly yanking his soul from the clutches of death and programming him into oblivion.

He swore to chase after everyone who caused this to happen to him, but more than two centuries had passed, and they had all died...or so he thought. Hammond Robotics' return to the Outlands has rekindled his passion for revenge, and he won't stop until everyone who comes into contact with Hammond dies. Of course, he doesn't mind eviscerating some myths in the process. He always needed a reason to kill... but he's not that man anymore.

Raised on the streets of Suotamo, Tae Joon and his adopted sister Mila Alexander escaped a life of squalor by becoming computer engineers, working on the design of drones that transport Apex games throughout the Outlands. But one day, Tae Joon disappears with a company secret, and his sister vanishes from view under mysterious and violent circumstances. However, Crypto claims to have no connection with Tae Joon, and the case remains unresolved.

Crypto's motivations for playing the Apex games are shrouded in mystery as much as the person himself. In recent interviews, he has claimed to be looking for justice, but for what exactly, that remains unknown.
